A new step toward a more reliable water supply for Angeles City.
The Angeles City Water District (ACWD) and Hiraya Water Corporation – Angeles City held the ceremonial groundbreaking for the Punta Verde Pumping Station on September 15, 2026, at Punta Verde Phase 1, Barangay Pulung Cacutud, Angeles City.
The ceremony was attended by Hiraya President Jose Paulino Santamarina, Hiraya Area Head Engr. Lodee Mar Guanlao, Hiraya North Luzon Operations Head Lanie Quinto, Hiraya Area Head PamBaZa Jan Michelle Canlas, Hiraya Angeles Branch Manager Mark Dalisay, members of the ACWD Board of Directors, ACWD General Manager Edgar Lopez, Angeles City Vice Mayor Amos B. Rivera, Angeles City Government Executive Assistant 5 Raffy Angeles, Barangay Pulung Cacutud Captain Francisco Cura, and representatives of the Punta Verde Subdivision Home Owners Association.
The project forms part of the broader Water Source Development Project, which is being developed across five strategic locations in the city. The initiative includes water-well drilling, pipes and valves, chlorination and filtration systems where needed, pumps, electrical equipment, control systems, and site development.
Upon completion of the five-site program, the project is expected to provide approximately 8 million liters of additional water per day and benefit an estimated 7,900 households. The additional supply is intended to help improve water availability, pressure, and system reliability for communities across Angeles City.
