PAMPANGA, Philippines – The celebration of Southeast Asian music and culture is moving beyond Manila as the SULONG SEAPop Music and Culture Caravan heads to Pampanga for its next stop on September 24, 2026, at SM City Pampanga. Following its launch in Manila, SULONG SEAPop continues its journey across communities, bringing music, cultural exchange, and interactive ASEAN experiences closer to the public as part of the Philippines’ hosting of ASEAN 2026.
The Pampanga leg also supports the celebration of Philippine Creative Industries Month (PCIM) this September, highlighting the role of Filipino creativity, artistic expression, and cultural work in shaping communities and connecting people through the arts. The Pampanga leg will bring together artists from the Philippines and Singapore for a special musical showcase that highlights the region’s vibrant contemporary music scene. Featuring 1st. One and KAIA from the Philippines alongside Iman Fandi from Singapore, the showcase brings the distinct sounds and creative energy of both countries to life, offering audiences an opportunity to discover how music can connect people across cultures and borders. As these artists take the stage, the event will celebrate the diversity of Southeast Asian music while highlighting the shared experiences, creativity, and cultural connections that continue to bring communities across the region closer together.
More than a music event, SULONG SEAPop offers a full day of activities designed to make the ASEAN experience interactive, engaging, and accessible to the public. Highlighting the Pampanga leg is the launch of an exciting new competition added to the main program, joining a vibrant schedule that features an ASEAN Corner, ASEAN lectures, cultural and merchandise booths, performances, workshops, and a competition, giving visitors different ways to learn about, experience, and engage with Southeast Asian culture. From exploring cultural displays and discovering creative products to participating in workshops and enjoying live performances, attendees can look forward to a program that brings together learning, entertainment, and cultural discovery in one venue. The caravan also continues the ASEAN Passport Stamp Rally, inviting participants to collect stamps as they take part in designated ASEAN 2026 events throughout the year. The initiative adds a tangible element to the celebration, encouraging audiences to explore more of the activities connected to the Philippines’ ASEAN 2026 hosting.
Each stamp represents another opportunity to discover the region’s stories, traditions, and creative expressions, allowing participants to continue their ASEAN journey from one cultural experience to another while staying connected to the year-long celebration.
