Wendy’s opens 100th store in Pampanga

Wendy’s PH Hits 100 And Turns Pampanga a Little More Blue Angeles City just got a little tastier and a lot more blue as Wendy’s Philippines officially opened its 100th store, marking a major milestone for the fast-food favorite. What was once a sea of signature red has now welcomed a bold twist: a refreshed store design dressed in striking blue. It’s a visual mic drop that says Wendy’s is evolving without ever touching the formula that made it a household name.

The grand opening on April 16 brought together Eight8Ate Holdings Inc. President and CEO Joey Garcia; SVP, APMEA Managing Director Chris Conway; and brand ambassador Caprice Cayetano, who helped lead the celebration of the brand’s centennial store moment. For Garcia, the milestone hit close to home. As a Kapampangan, opening the 100th store in Pampanga wasn’t just business, it was personal pride served with a side of fries. “This is a significant milestone for us, especially in the Philippine market… and we’re already looking forward to opening the next 100 stores,” Garcia said, sounding like someone already planning the next big food trip. The new store isn’t just about burgers and Frostys, it’s also a love letter to Angeles City.

A hand-painted mural inside the branch showcases local landmarks and cultural icons, turning the restaurant into a mini gallery with ketchup on the side. Conway praised the Philippine market as a “torchbearer” in Wendy’s global network, adding that the Angeles branch might just be one of the most visually stunning stores the brand has anywhere in the world. “We want Wendy’s to be the country’s go-to destination for quality fast food,” he said, doubling down on the brand’s “We don’t cut corners” promise, except, of course, when cutting fries. From its first Philippine store to its 100th blue-accented milestone, Wendy’s has built a steady fanbase anchored on familiar favorites: burgers, chicken, salads, iced tea, and that iconic Frosty that refuses to melt in popularity. And if this opening is any indication, the next 100 stores might just come with even more surprises.
