Mayor Susan Yap Joins First Flag Ceremony, Receives Arrival Honors from TPPO
A warm welcome for Mayor Susan Yap as she attended her first flag raising ceremony as Mayor of Tarlac City, held July 7 at the Tarlac City Plazuela. 
Mayor Yap was also given arrival honors by the Tarlac Police Provincial Office, led by P/Col. Miguel Guzman and P/Lt. Col. Rommel Santos.
In her speech, Mayor Yap emphasized a new chapter for Tarlac City, vowing internal reforms, systemic changes, and lasting solutions that will uplift the lives of every Tarlaqueño.
She also tackled key issues:
Tarlac City General Hospital & health centers
Traffic management
Waste collection
Public markets
City budget
The city also launched its catchy cleanliness campaign jingle “Linis Trak—Serbisyong MaYap!” 
Governor Christian Tell Yap was present and gave his own message of support. After the ceremony, Mayor Yap met with barangay captains and personally led medicine and financial aid distribution to senior citizens and daycare workers.
