Mekeni, Vantage Energy join forces again to uplift a remote school in Porac, Pampanga
Porac, Pampanga – Mekeni Food Corporation has once again joined forces with Vantage Energy to make a meaningful impact on the local community. This time, their collaboration centers on Sapang Uwak Elementary School, where they commenced their 2024 Back-to-School Donation Drive providing essential school supplies and a feeding program for 250 students and faculty members.

The companies donated a variety of school essentials, including bags, notebooks, pens, pencils, and art materials, ensuring that students have the necessary tools to support their education. Beyond these, the companies also provided water dispensers, a television, tumblers, educational books, printers, and ink, further enhancing the school’s learning environment.

The partnership also extended to a feeding program, with Mekeni preparing breakfast meals for the students and faculty members. Mekeni has previously supported several feeding programs, including a donation drive and a feeding program in Villa Maria, Porac. The homegrown brand’s feeding program aims to bring hope and show that help and support are available even in remote communities such as Sapang Uwak.
